Hydo/Cryotherapy

Used to either warm or cool affected tissues tendons and ligaments to facilitate an easier adjustment.

Electrical Stimulation

Used to rehabilitate, strengthen and to prevent muscle disuse atrophy in the paraspinal areas. Works well in conjunction with chiropractic to help give a quicker recovery for musculoskeletal injuries.

Cold Laser Therapy

Used over bone or soft tissue with infrared to reduce pain and promote quicker healing of injured tissues.

Traction

Intersegmental traction is used to help stretch out the joint capsules and release tension and strain in spinal segments and helps to generate better mobility of the spine.

Spinal Decompression

Works to decrease pain and pressure in the spinal column. It also helps to alleviate pain from a variety of spinal disc injuries. It works on a controlled traction system in nonsurgical spinal decompression therapy, the spine is stretched and relaxed intermittently in a controlled manner. The theory is that this process creates a negative intradiscal pressure (pressure within the disc itself), which is thought to have two potential benefits:

  • Pulls the herniated or bulging disc material back into the disc
  • Promotes the passage of healing nutrients, into the disc and fosters a better healing environment.
